What Aini carried
was a way of noticing.
Passed through three generations, then carried across three lands.
Aini grew up in Yunnan, long known as China’s “Kingdom of Plants.” Her earliest memories of botanical care were not written on labels. They were leaves and roots recognized by hand, proportions learned through practice, and elders teaching patience, restraint, and care.
Family oral history carries this knowledge back through earlier generations. Its inheritance is a system encompassing 57 botanicals, with seven core botanicals forming the family’s fixed house formula.
From Yunnan to Palestine, and later to the United States, Aini carried the formula and its way of caring forward. The formula is made by the family according to the inherited method; each guest’s focus area, warmth, application, and pace are then arranged around how the day has left them feeling.
